bristol-myers parking garage This design/build garage is part of Bristol-Myers Squibb’s $750 million biologics manufacturing facility in Devens, MA made possible through Public-Private partnership with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The project had a three month design and review process and a six month on-site construction schedule. As part of the design/build team Simon Design Engineering served as Designer of Record, precast component designer and detailer for the parking structure. The program required that the garage be designed and detailed to allow for future vertical expansion as the Owner completes its phased construction and operations on the Devens Campus. Bristol-Myers Squibb elected to provide a structure to meet its current needs with the inclusion of a roof and leave all expansion for the future.
